Happy 19th

If you've never had the opportunity to drink an orange julius, I apologize because you are missing out on one of the 7 wonders of the world. If you don't know what an orange juluis is, besides just plain awsome, it's a drink that tastes like an orange creamsicle. My birthday was this past Thursday and two nights beforehand I totally had a craving for an orange julius, so I went to the orange julius website out of boredom and saw they were holding a contest where you could win money, so being the avid contest enter-er that I am, I put in my information. The next day I got an email containing a coupon for Buy one get one free 20 oz orange julius because it was my birthday. Yes, they give you coupons for your birthday, so go sign in on the website right now! And next time you are at the mall near your birthday, you can be a selfish ass and drink both or share the other one with someone who's never tried one which is what I did! Because Sharing is nice. Stupid, but nice :)
So Thursday I made my friend Ryan drive me to the Sanford mall so that I could use my coupon. He had no reason to complain though, he got a free drink out of it.

So then it was back to my house because I had planned to make cupcakes but we got to my house and I realized that we didn't have enough soda for later on in the evening when everyone would be coming over my house after dinner AND I needed food coloring for cupcake icing, so we had to go
back outside in the pouring rain and drive to Winn Dixie. [ Omg okay so I always see people I know everywhere I go, because I live in a small town, and I have this happen to me all the time...where you see someone you know, wave to them, and have them completely ignore you! I don't understand it. It's happened to me a few times and it's always with guys. ] So I see this guy I knew from high school in line at the cash register...wave to him, say his name, and I'm pretty damn sure he saw me, but I got the cold shoulder. It really hurt my ego, but anyway we moved past that and went back to my house to decorate cupcakes with neon colors and candy faces! they turned out like this:

It's harder than I thought it would be to make "super cute" cupcakes. They kind of ended up looking like Halloween cupcakes... and of course they were loaded with sugar& artificial coloring, like little bite-sized cancer-causing heart attacks. I made butter cream icing and then we used neon gel food coloring which made really awsome, blindingly bright colors. Then we used nonpariels (giant snow caps), reses pieces, oreos, sprinkles, and icing pens to make the faces. Most of the candy and oreos ended up in our mouths or on the floor. I had to race my dog to some chocolate we dropped on the floor a few times but she got to it first and got to eat some. Woops! Never let your dogs eat chocolate, if you didn't know! So then she died....just kidding! she's fine.

The next plan of action for the day was to get ready and be at Chili's by 7pm for my birthday dinner with 8 other people I had invited, so
I got ready for dinner while my friends Ryan and Willie rolled around on my bed like a couple of fags...

It was still raining and Ryan's car leaks so the drive over to chili's was a soggy one, but we got there and pretty much everyone ordered a bacon cheeseburger! They're huge and way yummy and you gain ten pounds just by looking at them! They made the crew sing happy birthday to me even though I asked them not to. Ugh, I hate the happy birthday song, but secretly I love being the center of attention...
My dad gave me his gold card to pay for dinner and honestly, I didn't know how to add a tip on the receipt when paying with a card because I do not have a card of my own, so that took me a good 20 mins to figure out with the help of my friend Nicole. When we finally made it out to the parking lot, we were totally shocked to find a parked car MISSING A DOOR! Pictures will be added later as proof. Apparently a guy who works at the restaurant drives it. It had been raining too! Seriously, can you imagine driving a car with the drivers side door missing?! I <3> It was actually the first fun birthday I've had in a few years!

I'm sorry this blog is such novel, but a lot can happen in a day!
